🚨 BURNHAM DEFENDS BOND MARKET COMMENTS
Andy Burnham said the UK is still far too exposed to global shocks.
He defended comments last year that Britain should be less “in hock” to the bond markets.
Burnham said the comments were deliberately misinterpreted by Keir Starmer and his advisers.
He said his aim was a more resilient economy, not more borrowing and spending.
