China gets closer to Jupiter mission by bringing Nasa’s StarNAV concept to life
🚨 CHINESE RESEARCHERS TEST NEW DEEP-SPACE NAVIGATION METHOD The approach is known as stellar aberration navigation. It uses tiny shifts in the relative position of stars to work out a probe’s speed and direction. It allows autonomous real-time navigation without constant tracking and commands from Earth.
